Goodbye Old Lady...

The last moment planned for 2021... a historic 'event' we all knew would happen but sad nonetheless. After 25 years of service this beautyful plane goes to America to get another life. The last takeoff of the KDC-10 on Dutch soil.

I arranged at work that I could legally sneak out again. I was just in time to see her taxiing from the platform for her takeoff. 

She did already a goodbye tour a few weeks ago over major spots in our country, so I expected this was it... But she turned around for one final pass!

After a wave over the platform it was goodbye. Thanks 'oude dame'!  You will be missed.
